Tree season: Black Friday–Christmas Eve
Choose your Christmas tree.
Choose among mostly 5–8-foot balsam and Fraser fir and Norway spruce, with a limited supply of blue spruce, white pine and Scotch pine. Taller trees of 9 feet and above require more walking and searching. Shapes range from neatly trimmed and full to open and natural.
The farm’s walking trails cross tree fields, woodland and river scenery. Vehicle lanes let you drive closer to a tree when conditions permit; otherwise plan on walking. Bow saws and children’s sleds are supplied. Complimentary shaking and twine bundling depend on temperatures being warm enough and the tree fitting the equipment.

The farm visit.
Compare the tree choices
Fraser fir has soft short needles and firm branches that angle upward. Balsam combines a classic scent with soft needles and a full form. Norway spruce offers symmetrical growth and stiff branches, while blue spruce has sharper needles and strong branches for heavier ornaments. White pine’s supple branches suit lighter decorations; Scotch pine has firmer needles and a less uniform shape.
Prices, payment and size tags
Standard 5–7-foot prices are Fraser fir $55–65, balsam $50–60, spruce $45–50 and pine $40–50. The current Christmas page says larger 8–11-foot fir and spruce are usually $60–75 and may be specially marked; its linked tree guide instead lists $50–80. Confirm the individual taller tree’s price before cutting. Tabletop trees 4 feet and under may be discounted.
Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted. Listed prices include sales tax except for credit-card purchases.
Greenery, gifts and a warm break
Handmade wreaths are $20–30, kissing balls $30 and bough bundles $7 while supplies last. Shop locally made crafts, baked and canned goods, and warm up with a complimentary hot drink and snack. A portion of sales supports local charities; the farm declines service tips and provides charity donation jars instead.
