Choose your Christmas tree.

Elizabeth Farms is a family-owned choose-and-cut farm in Lititz. The farm has used horse- or tractor-drawn wagons to take visitors to the tree fields to find and cut a Christmas tree. If the horses are part of your plan, choose a Friday or Saturday during the Christmas experience; Sundays and regular Wednesdays and Thursdays have no horses. The final trees-only visit also has no horses.

The farm visit.

Safe field and wagon visits

Remain seated while the wagon is moving. Adults must handle the tree saws, and everyone should watch for uneven ground, old stumps and groundhog holes in the fields. Keep a safe distance from the tree driller and baler.

The Ag Junkyard playground

There is more for children to explore than the tree rows. The farm’s all-season Ag Junkyard playground repurposes farm equipment into a tractor slide, seesaws made from logs and tires, a mini go-kart track, a running hamster wheel and two basketball hoops. Swings and a sandbox give younger children another way to play, with tables where the family can pause. Giant stacking blocks and cornhole add yard games for a range of ages.

These are general farm features rather than a separately priced Christmas bundle. Check access to the particular activities you want to use, especially on a short weekday tree-shopping visit or the final trees-only day.

Farm animals and a place to pause

Scottish Highland cattle and lambs are part of life at Elizabeth Farms, and the farm welcomes visitors to enjoy its animals. A small lamb interaction and feeding area is described as part of the farm’s playground program; check the arrangements for your visit rather than assuming an animal-feeding session is included with a tree. Outdoor seating and playground tables offer places to take a break.

Hot chocolate, food and the Christmas shop

The Christmas outing has featured free hot chocolate, alongside separately offered food, festive drinks and Christmas gift-shop shopping. Plan a full-experience visit if you want more than the tree fields: regular Wednesdays and Thursdays have no food or bar, and regular Fridays have neither, except opening Friday. December 19 has no food, bar or gift shop.

Santa and the last full-experience day

Santa visits are part of the Christmas experience, with a timetable to check on the farm’s Christmas page before setting out. Regular Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays have no Santa, except opening Friday. December 13 is the last full-experience day, and Santa is absent from the final trees-only visit on December 19.

Complete the farm activity form before participating

The farm asks visitors to complete its release form before participating in activities. Read the requirements for your whole party and children before your visit. If you need a tree after the final selling day, contact the farm to discuss an arrangement.
