Choose your Christmas tree.
This is a pre-cut retail visit, with trees harvested from the family’s Pennsylvania farms through the holiday season. No choose-and-cut is offered at the Bustard Road location. Trees range from about 2–15ft, and larger trees are a specialty.
Prices are set by variety, size and individual tree quality rather than a per-foot calculation. The posted standard-tree ranges cover 6–8ft trees. Fraser and Korean fir have separate ranges, with six other listed varieties sharing the $92–$175 range.

The farm visit.
Compare the firs and spruce
Staff can help you choose a tree and greenery for the space you have at home. Douglas fir has soft needles and a fuller appearance, with softer branches suited to lighter decorations. Fraser, Nordmann, Turkish and Korean fir have sturdier branches for ornaments; Nordmann and Turkish have a more layered look. Balsam is a fragrant traditional choice, while Concolor has longer needles and a citrus-like scent.
Blue spruce brings a silvery-blue color and firm branches. Its needles are sharp, so gloves and long sleeves help when handling it. Compare the actual shape, height and tag at the sales site; listed species and size ranges do not guarantee a particular tree remains available.
Tree preparation and loading help
Bustard’s advertised services include trimming the trunk to fit a stand, drilling for a straight-standing setup, mechanical shaking to remove debris, baling and loading assistance. Wooden walkways help keep the shopping area manageable in snow or mud.
Some services vary among the family’s sales sites. Ask the Bustard Road staff which handling services are available for your tree and stand.
Wreaths, the Christmas shop and weekend cocoa
Handmade wreaths, roping and swags let you bring fresh greenery home alongside the tree. Knowledgeable staff can help with the greens and decorations you need, and the Christmas shop offers another place to browse. Hot chocolate is offered on weekends.
Trees for Troops
You can buy a donated Christmas tree for a military family through the farm’s Trees for Troops programme. The posted donation is $45 per tree, with FedEx delivering the donated trees to military bases. Arrange the donation at the Bustard Road location or through the farm’s contact. This is a donated tree for the programme, separate from the retail tree you take home.
