Choose your Christmas tree.
Hughes offers Douglas, Grand and Noble firs, generally from about 2–10 feet; its Noble range is stated as roughly 2½–9 feet. Douglas firs cost $8 per foot, while Noble and Grand firs are $12 per foot. Measured height is rounded down to the whole foot, so a tree just under 6 feet is charged at the 5-foot height.
Follow the field signs for varieties and use the measuring poles as a guide. Final measurement happens at the loading area, rather than making a tag or pole estimate the final bill.

The farm visit.
From the field to your vehicle
Take a supplied saw and kneepad and ride into the fields if you prefer. Staff in orange vests can cut your chosen tree and help it reach the pickup point. You may carry it yourself, but field transport, shaking, baling and vehicle loading are provided without extra charge.
Keep the tree’s tag or ticket for payment indoors. Free twine is available for securing the tree. Visitors may use a bow saw or small electric saw; gas chainsaws are prohibited, and trees must be cut at the base rather than taking a top.
| Service | Details |

| Field trip | Free rides into the trees |

| Preparation | Free shaking and baling |
| Loading | Free loading help and twine |
Payment, pets and refreshments
Cash and major credit cards are accepted, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Follow the signs for parking, including trailers.
Dogs are welcome on a leash; clean up after them. Free hot cocoa and cider are available, with baked goods and holiday greenery also offered.
Opening and separately arranged photography
The main U-cut notice announces a November 14 opening, Tuesday–Sunday 9am–4pm, with Mondays closed. A separate seasonal announcement lists seven-day selling and closes Thanksgiving Day. Confirm Monday availability with the farm before planning a weekday trip; the two notices do not agree on that day.
Professional photographers pay $30 for a visit of three hours or less or $60 for full-day access, payable at the farm’s payment area on the shoot day. Submit your interest through the photography page and confirm availability before arranging clients. Do not block U-cut access; keep animals leashed and remove props and rubbish after the session.
The photography page’s previously published blackout dates are November 28–30 and December 5–6. Treat these as a prior schedule and ask for the coming season’s restricted dates. Photography access is a separate use of the property, rather than an included tree service.
| Offer | Conditions |
|---|---|
| Up to three hours | $30; pay at farm on shoot day |
| Full day | $60; pay at farm on shoot day |
| Prior blackout dates | Previously published November 28–30 and December 5–6; confirm coming-season exclusions |
| Conditions | Do not impede U-cut access; leashed animals; remove props and rubbish |
