Choose your Christmas tree.
Hoffman’s Christmas offering is fresh pre-cut Noble and Douglas firs, described as available in a range of sizes. This is store-based tree shopping, rather than a U-cut field.
The Christmas store carries wreaths and local gifts, while the bakery, milkshakes and fireplace make a longer family stop possible. Christmas admission is free; trees, food and train tickets are separate purchases.

The farm visit.
Christmas train
The train follows an almost mile-long route through the farm, with festive lights for the seasonal trip. Tickets cost $5 per rider and are purchased at the store counter. A child under 1 year old riding on an adult’s lap does not need a ticket. All children must be accompanied.
The caboose can accommodate a wheelchair using its ramp; ask staff when arranging boarding. Train operations depend on the farm’s announced Christmas schedule rather than the store’s autumn festival hours.

Santa, gifts and refreshments
Santa photos are free, using your own camera. Check the seasonal announcements for his appearances rather than expecting Santa at every visit. Santa is normally under the main tent beside the farm store unless the announced session is specifically at The Mountainside Market.
Warm up beside the fireplace, choose a bakery treat or milkshake, and browse wreaths and locally sourced gifts. These are useful additions to a tree-shopping visit; the full fall festival is a separate season.
Pets, seating and drones
The farm is pet-free, with an exception for trained service animals. Picnic seating is first-come, first-served. Drones may not fly over the fields.
