Choose your Christmas tree.
Frog Pond’s Christmas visit centers on fresh-cut trees and greenery rather than U-cut fields. Browse the tree selection and holiday market, then explore the farm’s animal areas or gather near the bonfires.
Christmas-season entry is complimentary. The regular spring/summer admission and separate seasonal activities have their own charges and do not replace the Christmas entry policy.
The previous-season price menu lists Douglas and Noble firs from 3–9 feet. Use the published height prices below as a planning reference and confirm this season’s prices before choosing; the current selling calendar has been announced separately.

The farm visit.
Santa, animals and a holiday market
The Christmas page invites visitors to meet farm animals, warm up by the fires and visit Santa and Mrs. Claus. The previous-season Santa sessions are shown below as a reference; new sessions have not been posted. Santa is donation-based: bring your own camera and use the North Pole mailboxes for wishlists or donations.
Santa’s appearance times are separate from farm hours; the line closes at the stated session end and new arrivals cannot join afterward. Well-behaved leashed pets are welcome, with cleanup required; do not leave pets unattended in a vehicle.

Prepare for natural farm terrain
Arrive on the west side past the white house with the red roof and the red animal barn into the parking lot. Accessible and van-accessible spaces are marked nearest the entrance at the top of the gravel lot, which slopes east. Paths are loose gravel or woodchips; the upper area is relatively flat while other animal areas lie downhill, so changing natural surfaces can be challenging for mobility devices.
At least one ADA-compliant portable restroom is supplied during normal hours. Contact the farm ahead of time about specific access needs. Bring water or purchase it in the store, as the farm does not provide water stations. Cash, cards and Apple Pay are accepted, while Visa gift cards cannot be processed by its Square system.
The store’s service counter is 38 inches high, and staff can bring the mobile Square checkout device to a visitor. Coffee and donuts are generally offered Fridays–Sundays; animal-pen fences and feeding access vary, so use the detailed accessibility page when planning a particular animal visit.
| Offering | What to know |
|---|---|
| Parking | Marked accessible spaces near entrance; sloped gravel lot |
| Paths | Loose gravel/woodchips with uneven terrain and hills |
| Restrooms | Portable units; at least one ADA-compliant during normal hours |
Llama walks are a separate outing
The farm’s guided llama walks are a separately booked seasonal outing. The latest notice says the walking season has finished and tickets return in spring; walks are not an included Christmas activity. When offered, the mile-long, hilly route includes handling instruction, all-day farm admission and a cup of feed. The trail is not wheelchair accessible.
Book online when tickets reopen. Children age 10 and younger need their own child ticket and an accompanying adult. Groups normally have 5–10 people and a guide, with up to five llamas. Additional hikers may join at $30 each only if space allows; contact the farm first.
Wear closed-toe shoes and sun protection, bring water and a rain jacket, and leave umbrellas behind. Dogs cannot join the walk. For group requests or a walk outside ticketed hours, email Lindsey at lindsey@thefrogpondfarm.com.
