Fanno offers several fir choices for a U-cut visit. Noble and Nordmann firs cost $12 per foot, Grand firs $10 per foot and Douglas firs $8 per foot. Natural Nobles also cost $12 per foot up to 10 feet; taller natural Nobles use a separate $15-per-foot rate.

Noble firs have strong, layered branches for decorations, while Douglas and Grand firs offer fuller shapes. Compare the tree in front of you as well as the variety name, especially when choosing a naturally shaped Noble.

Cutting, pets and greenery

Bring your own hand saw or electric chainsaw to cut the tree. Dogs are welcome on a leash; clean up after them. The farm does not publish a general staff-cutting or loading service, so bring suitable help for the size you choose.

Wreaths, mantle decorations, garland and tree stands are available. The wreath list distinguishes an 18-inch wreath from a larger 36-inch choice, useful when measuring a door or display space.
