Choose your Christmas tree.
Donovan’s offers U-cut and pre-cut trees with wreaths and garland. The farm grows blue spruce, Douglas fir, Nordmann fir, Norway spruce, Grand fir and redwood; most trees are 5–8 feet, with some reaching 13 feet.
Hand saws, twine and assistance are supplied for the tree search. Follow the Christmas-tree signs on Donovan Place; the tree-page visitor panel gives 5730, while the studio and mailing address is 5720 on the same street.
The operator’s previous-season update restricted field cutting to Douglas fir and redwood later in the season while keeping pre-cut Noble and Nordmann trees available. That was a stock-protection notice, not a permanent closure; check the current update for which planted varieties may be cut on your visit.

The farm visit.
A warm pottery stop
After the fields, Dale’s pottery studio offers a place to warm up and browse mugs, plates, bowls, platters, vases and other handmade gifts. Cocoa, tea and candy canes are complimentary for tree customers.
Wreaths and fresh garland can round out your decorations. The tree visit normally does not require an appointment, but check the farm’s seasonal stock notice before relying on a particular cutting field or ready-cut variety.
Pottery beyond the tree season
The pottery shop is open year-round with an after-hours honor system: leave cash or a check in the designated place inside the studio. The shop also lists Mastercard and Visa during normal purchasing arrangements.
Donovan’s participates in the Philomath Open Studio Tour on two October weekends, offering a separate free self-guided artist visit. Follow the studio’s event information for that outing; overnight guesthouses have their own booking and amenities.
