Choose your Christmas tree.
Cornell Farm is a pre-cut retail nursery, rather than a U-cut field. Its selection includes Noble, wild Noble, organically grown Noble, Fraser, Nordmann, Grand, Douglas and Silvertip firs, with species-specific height and price choices. Published variants range from small 2–3-foot trees to large display trees; availability depends on the variety and the order.
You may choose a tree in person after deliveries arrive, or pre-order for staff to select one. Describe preferred shape in the order notes, but treat those notes as requests rather than a guaranteed individual tree. Pickup and delivery begin in mid-November.
For heavier ornaments, compare the sturdy branches of Noble and Silvertip firs; wild Nobles have wider spacing because they are not pruned or cultured. Fraser firs offer a more compact outline with upward-turning branches. Grand firs are full and fragrant but suit lighter ornaments, while Douglas firs have softer needles and lighter-duty branches. Nordmann is the least fragrant option in the nursery’s comparisons.
The organic Noble selection comes from Trillium Forest Farms near Sandy. Cornell describes these trees as grown without pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers; that specific grower claim does not apply to every tree in the retail display.

Pickup, delivery and setup
Pre-orders require a pickup or delivery appointment using the scheduling buttons shown after checkout. Keep the tree/service order separate from unrelated nursery items. Pickup carries a $10 personal-shopping fee.
DropShip delivery brings the tree to the address; Marriage Saver adds in-home setup. For setup, buy a stand or bring your own to the nursery at least 24 hours beforehand. Delivery includes addresses within 10 miles, with $5 per extra mile beyond that area; confirm the destination and charge with the nursery. Appointment service hours are 9am–4pm. The setup service confirms a two-hour arrival window on the afternoon before the appointment; have someone available between 9am and 4pm. The general ordering guide describes a shorter window, so use the final service confirmation. DropShip is driveway or curbside delivery; a stand can be pre-installed if you leave it with the nursery ahead of time. After the holidays, recycled drop-off trees are collected curbside, while trees delivered with in-home setup can be bagged and removed from the home.
Marriage Saver’s displayed purchase price is $149, while its descriptive text still quotes $129 for the local range. Confirm the charge when booking. Additional setup is $39 for each extra tree 5–6 feet and taller; the stand must be purchased or left at the nursery at least 24 hours before delivery.

Holiday wreath workshop
Wine & Wreathmaking includes materials and tools for a finished wreath about 24 inches wide on a 16-inch ring. Optional personal accents, gloves and pruners can come with you. The $135 workshop includes seasonal refreshments; wine is for adults 21 and over. Sessions take place in the Kitchen Garden Greenhouse.
Tickets may be transferred. Refunds become store credit until one week before the session; after that, a refund depends on a waitlist replacement. Private groups of eight or more should contact the nursery separately.

The café, tea and nursery visit
Browse fresh wreaths, garland sold by the foot, seasonal greens and gifts before or after tree shopping. The nursery opens 9am–6pm. The café serves brunch 8am–3pm, with the last seating at 2:30pm; the espresso bar runs 8am–6pm.
Garden Tea is a separately reserved experience in the heated Victorian glasshouse, with sweet and savory tiers and Smith tea. It requires a reservation rather than a walk-up Christmas tree purchase.
Discounted and holiday items are final sale. Nursery and café gift cards use separate systems and cannot be used interchangeably; choose the card that matches your intended purchase.
Access, parking and pets
Free parking is available, and TriMet route 20 stops in front. The sloping nursery has level main areas and paths between terraces. Two accessible parking spaces are near the café ramp; additional access is available around the checkout building. The farmhouse café front entrance has five steps, with a ramp alternative.
Three gender-neutral restrooms include two accessible rooms and changing tables behind the red checkout building. Leashed or carried pets are welcome when supervised, with cleanup required; only working service animals enter the farmhouse. Pets can join you on the porch or in the Garden Pavilion.
Deck the Halls Shop and Sip
The November 7 evening event runs 6–8pm for an after-hours look at holiday ornaments, decorations and gifts. A $15 ticket covers the RSVP, light hors d’oeuvres and one glass of wine; additional drinks are available to purchase. Book the separate event ticket rather than treating it as part of regular nursery shopping.
