Choose your Christmas tree.
Choose in the fields, browse pre-cut trees beside the Christmas barn, or select a balled-and-burlapped living tree. Large trees up to twenty feet are part of the published range. Canaan fir, white pine and blue spruce are offered for cutting during the season; Norway spruce cutting starts November 29 in the posted arrangements.
Individual prices depend on variety, size, shape, color and fullness. The detailed bands below are estimates per foot, not flat tree totals. Only balled-and-burlapped trees may be pre-tagged.
Tree species
- Canaan fir
- White pine
- Colorado blue spruce
- Norway spruce
- Leyland cypress
- Fraser fir
The farm visit.
Cutting, carrying and the stand
Staff offer help with cutting, hauling, shaking and tying the tree onto your vehicle. If you purchase a stand, they can fit it to the tree. Bring that stand back with a later tree purchase and the farm will install it again without another installation charge.
Field selection ends at dark. The lit pre-cut and living-tree areas give evening shoppers a different option; those areas do not extend the field-cutting hours.
The Christmas barn
Complimentary hot chocolate and cookies accompany the barn visit. Wreaths, swags, pine roping and arrangements are made fresh daily, with ornaments and gifts for sale. Antique John Deere tractors, Model A cars and an American flag display provide additional things to see in the barn.
Payment and arrival
Bring cash or a check; cards are not accepted. Resolve the appointment requirement before heading out, because the posted seasonal walk-in wording conflicts with the site’s appointment-only header and footer.
