Choose your Christmas tree.
Harvested choices include Fraser and balsam fir, white pine, blue spruce and Black Hills spruce. The cut-your-own supply of Canaan fir, Scotch and white pine and Black Hills spruce is limited following weather-related crop losses, so plan an early field visit. Fresh pre-cut trees offer an alternative.
Every tree is individually marked. Premium trees around 6–9 feet are approximately $16 per foot, while taller trees are listed around $20–$30 per foot. Plantable live trees, roughly 3–6 feet, start at $49; they have a separate buying format and price.

Tree handling and visit boundaries
Staff can carry the tree to your vehicle and provide string, but you must secure the tree yourself. The farm no longer ties trees onto vehicles because of insurance liability. Bring help for securing a large tree.
Pets must stay leashed, with cleanup required, and dogs cannot ride on wagons with other guests. Ponds are off limits, including throwing rocks into them. Stay away from the owner’s home and windmill.
Greenery and the Gift Barn
Browse Christmas décor, personalized ornaments and the life-size Fontanini nativity in the Gift Barn, with complimentary hot chocolate. Wreaths can be decorated on site in different sizes and materials, including Fraser, Noble and Douglas fir, pine, cedar and boxwood.
Custom swags, mailbox greenery and memorial wreaths with stands are offered. Garland can be made in pine, cedar or heavy Noble fir. Discuss custom choices and prices before ordering.
Café and Santa visits
The Big Tree Café lists drinks, baked goods, roasted nuts, fudge and hot foods such as hot dogs, pizza, pulled pork and chili. Hot chocolate is complimentary; other café purchases have their own cost. Its separately published dates are November 23–24 and 27, then November 29–December 15. Confirm renewed café days before traveling.
The previously published Santa program runs November 28–30. Tickets are $7 per child and parents may take their own pictures; Friday and Saturday have a midday break.

Photography outside the tree visit
Off-season property access is limited to photographers and their clients with a reservation. A tree-selling visit does not authorize a separate photography session or access near the home. Use the farm’s photography arrangements when planning a session.
