The farm visit.

The wagon ride and taking your tree home

Borrow a hand saw or bring a hand or battery-powered saw; gas-powered saws are prohibited. Free wagons take you to the field and collect you and your tree at a wagon stop. Shaking, baling, twine, a fresh trunk cut and drilling for a pin stand are supplied.

Pay with the bottom part of the tree tag in the gift shop, then collect and load the tree before returning for food or shopping. Free parking and full-service accessible and family restrooms with changing tables are available.

Christmas play and animals

Christmas admission is free. The straw fort, giant slides, Nativity, animals, bonfire and singing Hillbilly Hen Chicken Show give children plenty to enjoy around the tree visit. Harvest Fest attractions are closed during Christmas.

Private Roo Ranch encounters offer a closer visit with a kangaroo or wallaby joey, tortoises or an armadillo. The posted offer is $20 per person; children under 2 are free with a paying adult. Posted encounter days are weekends and Black Friday, November 21–December 6. Arrange this separately through the Roo Ranch.

Doughnuts, hot chocolate and the gift shop

The Old Barn Grill serves burgers, hot dogs, personal pizzas and warming drinks. Find specialty hot chocolate and freshly baked cookies beneath the green awning at the Cocoa & Cookie Corner, or take home apple-cider doughnuts and small-batch kettle corn. Food and drink are purchased separately.

Browse the Country Gift Shop for artisan crafts, ornaments, hoodies, farm-made butter fudge, jams, jellies, salsas and local maple syrup. Fresh Fraser-fir wreaths and arrangements are made throughout the week; garland is not sold.

A lobster-truck visit

The posted November 22 lobster-truck event combines lunch with tree shopping: the cut-your-own fields, pre-cut barn and gift shop are open 10am–3pm, and the truck serves 11am–3pm. Lobster bisque and lobster po’boys are among the advertised dishes; food is purchased separately and Christmas admission is free.
