This is the main farm’s recurring Christmas timetable; the Manlius lot and ticketed evening Santa Expedition have separate hours.
Choose your Christmas tree.
The farm offers cut-your-own and pre-cut trees and primarily grows Fraser and Canaan fir. Saws and sleds are supplied, and the crew can shake, bale and load your chosen tree.
The farm visit.
Fresh greens and a warming stop
The shop brings together locally sourced gifts, ornaments, maple syrup and jams, with doughnuts, homemade fudge and hot cocoa available to buy. Browse plain or decorated handmade wreaths, handmade roping, kissing balls, loose greens and swags.
For pre-cut shopping closer to Manlius, the separate lot behind Sno Top Ice Cream opens on Black Friday and sells trees and greenery seven days a week until Christmas. This listing’s address and field-cutting visit are for the main farm on NY-91.
The Santa Expedition
Ride an enclosed wagon through illuminated trees to Santa’s Outpost, where children meet Santa, Mrs. Claus and an elf and receive a keepsake and sweet treat. Book online for the chosen date and departure.
Arrive 15 minutes early: the wagon does not wait. Tickets cannot be refunded or changed to a different date or time, although private resale is allowed.
The outing runs in rain, snow and cold, with cancellation only when Onondaga County travel advisories are issued. Wear winter coats, hats, mittens and boots; Santa’s Outpost and the shop/refreshment areas are heated. Optional purchase protection is supplied by a separate company under its own terms.

The November holiday market
The 2026 holiday market runs November 7–8, 11am–5pm. Shop local artisans and vendors, browse the farm gift shop and purchase seasonal food, drinks and sweet treats. This early-November event is separate from the later tree-shopping season.
Caring for your Springside tree and wreath
Put your freshly cut tree in warm water promptly and keep the stand topped up; water additives are unnecessary. Choose a spot away from heat sources so the tree stays fresh. Keep a wreath out of the space between an exterior door and a storm door, where trapped heat can dry the greenery.
Before you go.
- Dogs are welcome during Christmas tree season. Follow marked routes and staff directions around the working farm; fields can have slippery surfaces, snow, ice and tree stumps.
- Use the physical entrance at 1850 NY-91; 1940 Jerome Road is the farm’s mailing address.
