The farm’s tree page lists white, Norway and blue spruce for choose-and-cut shopping, with the field-grown range described as reaching about 7½ft. Fresh-cut offerings include Fraser, Concolor and Douglas firs in a wider 6–12ft range. Check the farm’s tree updates before travelling for a particular size or species.

The farm visit.
Saws, wrapping and the ride home
Borrow a hand saw or bring your own; chainsaws are prohibited. Tree baling is included in the tree price, and twine is available to help secure the tree for the journey home. Portable toilets are provided on the farm.
Pay with cash, check or a major credit or debit card. Well-behaved pets are welcome on a leash, with owners responsible for them and for cleaning up.
The Christmas Cabin and fresh greenery
Choose a new ornament in the julehytten, the farm’s Christmas Cabin. Handmade Fraser-fir wreaths come plain, with a bow or decorated, and the farm also makes fresh kissing balls, roping, swags and centerpieces.
Tree stands, preservative, removal bags and floor protectors are available alongside the decorations, so you can finish preparing for the tree before heading home.
A snack and a visit with the sheep
Warm up with hot chocolate or hot cider and choose baked goods from Hudson Valley bakers. The farm also invites children to visit the sheep and give them grain. Pick up a snack or hot drink while the tree is being wrapped.
Limited parking makes tailgating difficult at Solvang. Nearby Plan Bee Farm Brewery allows outside food and offers outdoor space, a pavilion, cornhole and oversized Jenga. A posted, undated partner offer lists 10% off beer, wine, cider and cocktails when you show a Solvang farm receipt; confirm the current terms with the brewery before ordering.
Peach Hill Park offers another nearby picnic stop, with tables and walking trails; fires and alcoholic drinks are prohibited there.
