Choose your Christmas tree.
Spruce Goose’s field choices include Canaan, concolor and Douglas fir, blue and Norway spruce, and white pine, with trees up to 10 feet tall. In its earlier tree guide, the farm describes Douglas’s small, soft needles and familiar Christmas aroma, concolor’s long soft blue-green needles and citrus scent, and blue and Norway spruce’s strong branches and pointed needles. Compare the feel and branch structure while choosing a tree for your ornaments.
Premium pre-cut Fraser firs are brought from North Carolina and sold while supplies last. The farm describes thick, strong branches and deep-green, two-tone needles with silvery highlights, along with a citrus scent. Ask about the currently available sizes before traveling for a particular height.
Each Fraser receives a fresh cut and is put into water, with branches around the trunk trimmed to fit a stand. Shaking, netting and twine are free for all trees; saws and tree wagons are complimentary, and workers can help load your tree. Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted.
