Choose your Christmas tree.
Peterson separates its field trees from the ready-cut selection. Field-grown concolor and Canaan fir are listed from 5–7 feet; pre-cut Canaan reaches 9 feet, and Fraser fir is offered pre-cut. Douglas fir comes in both formats and varied sizes. Tall, wide blue spruce is limited, while Norway spruce availability changes by season.
The farm encourages tagging, but does not guarantee that a tagged tree will still be there on return. It recommends cutting Norway spruce closer to Christmas for better needle retention. Pin-stand drilling is free, with Stand Straight stands sold separately.

Choose the format and size
Ask about current stock before travelling for a particular selection.
| Selection | Format & size | Useful differences |
|---|---|---|
| Concolor fir | Field-grown, 5–7 feet | Soft foliage, citrus aroma and more open, pliable branches. |
| Canaan fir | Field-grown 5–7 feet; pre-cut up to 9 feet | Soft foliage with good retention; the farm describes stronger fragrance than Douglas fir. |
| Fraser fir | Pre-cut | Soft two-tone needles, fragrance and stiff branches for heavier ornaments. |
| Douglas fir | Field-grown and pre-cut; varied sizes | Soft dark-green foliage, sweet-smelling when needles are crushed. |
| Blue spruce | Limited tall, wide trees | Sharp needles, stiff branches for heavier ornaments and a blue, pyramid-shaped form. |
| Norway spruce | Seasonal availability; later cutting advised | Milder fragrance and fairly stiff branches; the farm rates retention as fair and advises cutting near Christmas. |
Handmade greenery to order
Wreaths range from 8 inches to 4 feet, with handmade bows that can be changed to suit. Novelty wreath shapes include candy canes, snowmen, presents and horse heads. The range also includes kissing balls, centerpieces and grave blankets, priced by size and decoration. Plain designs and decorated choices can include holly, other greens, ornaments and pinecones.
White-pine roping is made at the farm and can sell out early. Sherrie handles advance wreath, roping and novelty orders on 908-782-1682; that is separate from the farm’s general visitor number.
Opening and payment
The usual opening is Black Friday, followed by Friday–Sunday 9am–5pm. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted. Dogs are not admitted. Use the current operator address, 439 Quakertown Road, and confirm the driveway when planning the trip.
