The farm visit.
Field trees and precut Fraser firs
The choose-and-cut page lists Colorado blue spruce, concolor fir, Douglas fir and Norway spruce. The posted field price covers trees 6–20 feet tall; precut Fraser firs have separate pricing. Check the actual tree, height and remaining selection before cutting.
Concolor is described as soft-needled with a citrus scent, Douglas as soft and full, and blue spruce as sharper-needled. Fraser fir is the precut option, with strong branches and silvery needle undersides.
Begin at the market
Stop in the farm market before heading into the field. Tree tagging is permitted at your own risk: a tag does not guarantee the tree will still be there on your return. Plan to arrive at least 90 minutes before closing.
The farm store carries baked goods, local honey, maple syrup, fruit spreads, seasonal produce and holiday decorations. These are separate purchases; fall admission, maze and hayride programs have their own season and terms.
The growers’ association also lists supplied saws, permission to bring your own saw and pin-stand drilling. Ask the market team about the current equipment and preparation arrangements before entering the field; no fee or complimentary status is established for those services. Wreaths and grave blankets are listed alongside the tree-shop and refreshment offering.
The growers’ association lists weekend Santa visits. Confirm the current session dates and times with the market before planning your trip around Santa.
A pet-free farm visit
Pets are not allowed on the farm; service animals are welcome under the operator’s policy. The winter baseline is Tuesday–Sunday, 9am until dark, around 5pm, with Monday and Thanksgiving closure. These hours are approximate and may change, so confirm the day’s opening and closing before travelling.
