Choose your Christmas tree.
Evergreen Valley offers a broad choose-and-cut selection of firs, pines and spruces. A back field is advertised with Canaan fir from 9–11 feet, and some white pines reach 14 feet. Prices are set by species rather than height, so a small tree of the same species costs the same as a larger one. New Jersey sales tax of 6.625% is added at the register. The FAQ also describes occasional Norway spruce, white pine or Scotch pine around 15 feet; these are availability-dependent, so ask before planning around that height.
A free wagon ride takes visitors around the farm and to the fields. On Wednesday–Friday, visitors cut their own trees, with staff help if they are unable; staff cutting and help moving a tree back are also described. Netting costs an additional $2. The operator’s pages disagree about borrowing saws, so confirm the tool arrangement before visiting; chainsaws are prohibited.
For a softer touch, the farm describes concolor fir’s foliage as soft with a citrus scent. Canaan fir is described as having long-lasting needles; compare the actual trees available when you visit.

Wreaths and pin stands
Locally made fresh wreaths accompany the tree selection. Pin stands are sold in three sizes and the farm can drill the trunk for the system. The tree page says white-pine roping is not offered.
Payment and farm rules
Cash and credit cards are accepted; checks are not. Dogs, campfires and alcohol are prohibited, with an exception for trained service dogs. The farm is preparing for the next Christmas season, but the recurring Wednesday–Sunday hours should be checked against its latest conditions announcement.
