Tree season: Reopens November 27; confirm selling hours
Choose your Christmas tree.
Charlie Brown’s reopens November 27. Its detailed selection lists Douglas fir from 4–10 feet and Norway spruce from 10–15 feet, with an $85 flat price in the previous season’s section. Norway spruces are lightly sheared for a more natural shape; the farm advises waiting until no earlier than two weeks before Christmas to cut one. Confirm current stock and prices before travelling. Advance tagging is not allowed.
Bow saws are provided without charge and chainsaws are prohibited. Wear sturdy shoes and dress for field weather. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted, while Venmo, Zelle and other electronic transfers are not; the farm also asks that any optional tip for its helpers be in cash.
Staff provide twine and help lift the tree onto the car, but you must tie it down yourself. Take time to secure it before leaving the farm.

The farm visit.
Fresh greenery and gifts
Plain or decorated wreaths, grave blankets and handmade gifts are made for the Christmas season. The farm is run by the Brown brothers and their families on preserved farmland, with a separate professional-photography arrangement for holiday sessions.
Dogs, parking and photography
Dogs must stay on a six-foot leash, under their owner’s control, with cleanup required. Tailgating is prohibited because parking is limited. Professional photography has a separate policy, contract and reservation arrangement; ordinary tree-shopping access does not include a professional session.

The flat price applies across the posted selection, with different size bands by species.

| Norway spruce | 10–15 feet; lightly sheared; cut no earlier than two weeks before Christmas |
Professional photography permits
Professional sessions require an appointment and a separate permit. The published choices are $100 for one continuous hour with a single client, $250 for up to four continuous hours in a morning or afternoon block, or $350 for a full day during the 7am–5pm photography window. The longer permits support mini-session blocks; the one-hour price does not cover multiple clients.
Photography appointments are offered daily in October and November 1–25, then Monday–Thursday from November 30 through December 17. Thanksgiving weekend and December Fridays–Sundays are excluded as peak tree-shopping days. These are photography arrangements; confirm ordinary tree-selling hours separately.
A signed contract and full payment reserve the date. Payments are nonrefundable, and dates transfer only for severe inclement weather approved in advance by farm management. The photographer must provide a general-liability insurance certificate at least 48 hours before the session, with at least $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate coverage, naming Charlie Brown’s Christmas Tree Farm, LLC as an additional insured. Read the complete current contract before making arrangements.
Photographers meet and direct their own clients; farm staff do not manage session arrivals. Park in the designated main lot, remain in the designated tree fields, and bring a wagon or cart for equipment: vehicles are prohibited in fields and on access roads. Clients may need to walk up to a quarter-mile over uneven terrain, so suitable footwear matters. Sessions, cleanup and departure must finish by 5pm.
Remove all props, rubbish, clothing and equipment after the session. Vintage prop vehicles require prior written approval and coordination with management. Children under 12 need supervision; pets stay leashed with immediate cleanup. Photography must not obstruct visitors, equipment or farm work. Send the completed contract and insurance certificate to charliebrownstreefarm@gmail.com; the farm confirms dates by email.

At home with your tree
Make a fresh, straight half-inch cut across the trunk base before placing it in water. The farm recommends a stand with about one quart of water capacity for each inch of trunk diameter, without whittling the trunk sides to fit. Water promptly and check daily that the cut base stays submerged; keep the tree away from heat.
