The posted Christmas arrangement separates choosing from pickup: tagging takes place on selected October and November dates, and pickup follows on selected dates after Thanksgiving. Canaan fir is the field variety, and the farm offers choose-and-cut trees. Check the current farm updates before making the trip or planning around an earlier tagging timetable.
Getting the tree ready for home
Trees can be shaken and baled or wrapped after cutting, and customer restrooms are available. The farm is about half a mile off US 60 on Shannon Run Road, near the Kentucky Castle; look for the farm signs as you approach.
