Barker’s Christmas Tree Farm
At Barker’s, a reserved visit begins with checking in at the entrance, picking up a saw and sled, and walking among white pine and Canaan fir. White price tags mark the trees available for cutting. Back at the barns, a family photograph and a line for shaking and baling turn the choice in the field into a tree ready for the trip home.

The farm visit.
Choose a tagged tree and bring it back to the barns
Check in before entering the field, then collect a saw and sled between the barns. Adults handle the supplied saws; chainsaws are not permitted. Cut only trees carrying a white price tag and return the equipment when you bring the tree back. Trees cannot be tagged ahead of the selling season.
Staff shake and bale the tree, and twine is available for securing it to the vehicle. If you use a stand bought at Barker’s, tell the crew before baling: drilling for a new or returning farm stand is free. Paying for the tree is the final stop before loading.
A photograph to return to next Christmas
The farm takes a family photograph with the chosen tree, a dated sign and reindeer props. The following season, returning families can collect that picture from the picture wall. Candy canes are offered to all ages, and on cold days the fire pit gives visitors somewhere to warm up while trees are wrapped.
Wreaths and white pine garland offer another way to bring home greenery. Food and drinks are not sold at the farm, so plan refreshments around the visit.
Arriving with children or a dog
The gravel parking entrance is at 1500 Deer Haven Lane. Busy periods can fill the lot and cause a wait, even with the tree-reservation system. A portable toilet is available, and dogs may come on a leash when their owners clean up after them.
Barker’s limits how many trees are cut to protect future seasons. It may finish selling while trees are still standing, so a field full of trees does not mean every tree is for sale.
Photography sessions have their own booking rules
Photographer sessions are booked separately before Thanksgiving weekend. The 2026 information lists Sundays from 1–6 p.m. and Monday–Saturday from 9 a.m.–6 p.m. A day costs $70 through Venmo or $72.25 through PayPal, payable when reserving and nonrefundable. A photography waiver is required.
Several families can be photographed during the booked day, but each photographer needs a separate paid reservation. Leaving ends that day’s access; finish by 6 p.m. Park in the gravel lot, keep vehicles out of the fields and dogs leashed. Sunday reservations cannot be transferred. Sessions stop after Thanksgiving weekend unless the farm reopens following tree sales.
