The farm visit.
A pre-cut tree visit
The latest published Christmas offering centres on premium pre-cut Fraser firs, with trees described as six to nine feet tall. You can compare the trees without setting out to cut one yourself. The visitor FAQ also describes Norway spruce transported from the owners’ other farm and handmade wreaths.
Bare Creek’s own plantings are still growing, so the current buying format is pre-cut. Tree size determines the price. Pay with a card or cash; the farm does not accept checks.
Pause by the bonfire
The bonfire and free hot chocolate give the family a reason to linger after finding a tree. Ordinary family phone photos after shopping are encouraged, so there is room to capture the day without arranging a professional session.
Pets may come along, but they must remain on a leash at all times. Keep other visitors’ space and experience in mind.
Weekday visits and photography
For a quieter weekday tree visit, arrange a private afternoon or evening time with the farm. That arrangement is separate from the regular weekend opening hours.
Professional photography uses booked time slots through the farm’s Facebook page. Posted sessions cost $75 per hour and must be prepaid through Venmo; this fee applies to photography sessions, rather than ordinary family snapshots while shopping.
