The farm visit.
Café, gifts and family activities
The Cabin Café and Candy Corner offer refreshments including homemade fudge, frosted nuts and apple pie. The gift shop sells holiday decorations, wreaths, roping and greens, including wreaths from 18 inches to 8ft and shaped and cemetery arrangements.
Horse-drawn wagons are part of the farm visit. Santa and kiddie train rides are advertised for weekends; check current availability and any separate charges before planning around them.
Ridin’ With Santa
The motion simulator experience costs $4 per person and has a 245lb chair weight limit. This is a separate paid activity.
Reserved group outings
Field trips and group tours require advance reservations and have limited availability, with no dates during Thanksgiving week. A Christmas visit may include growing and wreath-making demonstrations, the tree barn, shaking and baling, the Children’s Farm and a wagon ride.
Fees apply to adults and children. Children age 2 and under are free, with possible extra charges for optional treats or activities. One teacher or chaperone is complimentary per 15 children age 2 and older, up to six for groups of 90 or more.
Outdoor education days and bonfire/tractor outings with optional hot dogs and s’mores can be arranged separately.
Christmas workshops and story hours
For a separate holiday outing, ask about date nights, Santa’s Workshop, cookie decorating, porch-decoration evenings, mason-jar centerpiece workshops and Family Adventure Night. Check which sessions can be booked before making plans.
Christmas story hours take place by the fire, with snacks and drinks available for purchase. Ask about the program and times before traveling.
