Choose your Christmas tree.
Choose a farm-grown tree or a pre-cut Fraser fir brought from out of state, generally 5–10 feet tall. Field Murrays reach about 8 feet, with some much larger untrimmed trees available. Carolina Sapphire and Blue Ice should be cut from the second weekend in December because they dry sooner.

The farm visit.
From the wagon to the car
A hayride carries visitors to the tree fields at the back of the farm. Saws are supplied, and staff can help cut—ask on arrival and again when you have chosen your tree. Tie-on materials are provided, and staff can drill the trunk for a stand that requires it.
The Christmas Shoppe
Browse stands, ornaments, decorations, snacks and cider mixes after choosing your tree. The farm participates in Trees for Troops for visitors who would like to donate a tree to a military family.
Booked photography
Photo sessions use the tree fields by separate arrangement. A single-family two-hour session is $20; professional all-day mini sessions are $50; a two-hour promotional session is $10. An old truck prop costs another $25 per day. The calendar is under construction, so arrange availability with Stephanie at stephanie@mintersfarm.com or 770-296-8360; text is preferred.
A mandatory 50% deposit is nonrefundable; cancellation forfeits it. Rescheduled payments can be honored within the calendar year, and weather changes are handled with Stephanie. Arrive with the supplied location map, stay in the assigned field and use designated parking. No smoking, alcohol, running engines in dry grass or driving above 10mph. Keep pets leashed and clean up after them.
Before you go.
- Cash, checks and major credit cards accepted; sales tax is added at the register.
- Check that the farm is still selling trees after the second weekend in December.
- Oversize untrimmed Murrays cannot be shaken or baled. Plan for a heavy tree and potentially limited handling help.
