Find your tree
Choose your Christmas tree.
Reneson’s combines choose-and-cut tree fields with a crew that helps customers get their tree cut and loaded. The published selection includes Fraser, balsam, Canaan and concolor fir and blue spruce. Its association profile describes trees up to 10 feet; an older municipal feature described larger trees, so confirm the available heights rather than treating either range as live stock.
Saws, tree carts and wrapping are available, and twine for tying down the tree is free. Cutting and loading help does not specify a charge or guarantee that staff will secure every vehicle load; agree the help you need before cutting.

Which variety suits your decorations?
General tree guidance; the farm’s selection, sizes and services are described above.
- Fraser fir
- Upward branches and good needle retention; firmer branches can suit heavier ornaments.
- Balsam fir
- A notably fragrant choice with soft needles.
- Concolor fir
- Longer, silver-blue needles with a citrus scent when crushed.
- Canaan fir
- Dark green needles with white undersides and firmer branches for decorations.
- Blue spruce
- Blue to silver-blue foliage with sharp needle tips.

Finish the visit with greens and cider
Wreaths, garland, tree stands, waterers, disposal bags and wreath hangers are sold at the farm. Free hot mulled cider, candy canes and coloring books add a small break after choosing a tree. The nearby railway trail and Salmon River State Forest are part of the setting, rather than a guided activity included in a tree purchase.
Bring cash or a personal check
The farm accepts cash and personal checks, with no credit cards. Dogs are not allowed and toilets are available. The published selling pattern is the Friday after Thanksgiving followed by Saturdays and Sundays only, 9am–4:30pm.
The association gives 268 Bull Hill Road, while the operator’s linked public profile gives 280. Confirm the current visitor entrance with the farm before travelling.
