Peaceful Hill grows trees from small to very large, with more than twenty varieties in its operator description. Its fir list includes balsam, Canaan, concolor, grand, Fraser, Turkish, noble, Korean, Siberian, corkbark and Douglas. Spruces include white, Colorado blue, Serbian and Meyer, alongside sheared white and Scotch pine; the association also lists Nordmann fir. Ask which are harvest-ready before seeking a particular variety. Trees over ten feet have a higher price, so agree the amount before cutting.
Saws are supplied and staff can help if cutting assistance is preferred. The farm shakes, drills and wraps trees without a charge, and its operator page also offers help loading onto the car. Carts and sleds are available to move a tree through the fields.

The gift shop and railroad
The gift shop has Christmas ornaments, tree toppers, bows, candy, Connecticut maple syrup, local handmade and quilted gifts, and pin-type tree stands. An operating scenic model railroad runs around the shop as a display to watch while browsing. It is a model railway rather than a passenger ride.
Hot chocolate is complimentary; the home page specifically mentions children. Other refreshments, including mulled cider, are available to buy. Check the day’s selection if a particular treat matters to your visit.
Farm-made wreaths and custom greenery
The farm makes its own wreaths and mailbox huggies and offers custom wreaths up to 48 inches with a choice of greens. Candy-cane wreaths, grave blankets and garlands add options beyond a round door wreath. Contact the farm for the size, design, price and collection arrangements for a custom piece.
Planning a field visit
The operator posts weekends from the weekend before Thanksgiving, 10am–4pm, and Black Friday at the same hours; other weekdays are closed. The association’s later closing and appointment wording differ, so use the operator program and confirm an unusual visit. Major credit cards and restrooms are listed. The farm describes level ground and easy access to trees; ask about your specific route or mobility needs.
