Choose your Christmas tree.
Charlie Brown’s offers a choice between harvesting in the fields and taking home a precut Connecticut-grown fir. The field list includes white, blue and Norway spruce, Douglas and concolor fir, and white pine; precut firs come in assorted sizes. Ask about the available height and price before choosing, since a size-by-price list is not posted.
The Aresco family’s farm is on Wopowog Road in East Hampton. Saws are supplied and tree wrapping is offered, so the visit can begin in the fields without bringing a cutting tool. No separate wrapping charge is stated.

The log-cabin shop and Santa
The log-cabin shop sells wreaths and ornaments, making it a useful stop for greenery after choosing your tree. Santa visits only on selected weekends. Check the farm’s linked Facebook page for the actual session before planning a Santa visit; tree-selling hours do not promise Santa throughout the day.
