Choose your Christmas tree.
Olsen’s published tree choices include Fraser, concolor and Canaan fir, white, blue and Norway spruce, and white pine. Saws and wrapping are available, and the profile describes all trees at one price with the tallest around 9 feet. It does not publish the amount, so confirm the flat price and remaining heights before choosing.
The farm does not offer tagging. Visit during a selling session to select from the available trees rather than expecting to reserve one weeks ahead. Undated crop and award descriptions should not be read as a promise that a particular variety remains.
A Christmas shop beside the tree search
Wreaths, stands, decorations and gifts are sold. Connecticut tourism also describes cocoa, local honey, maple syrup, jams and kissing balls; availability and prices vary. These extras are not stated to be included with a tree.
Plan around the midweek closure
The published opening is Friday, November 27, 9am–4:30pm, followed by Wednesday–Friday noon–4:30pm and Saturday–Sunday 9am–4:30pm. Mondays and Tuesdays are closed. Confirm the actual seasonal opening before travelling.
Cash and credit cards are accepted. Dogs are welcome on a leash, and restrooms are available. Use the Voluntown address on Ekonk Hill Road rather than a nearby town on the same road corridor.
