The Strawberry Shack tree fields are separately described half a mile south of 130 Terryville Road on the opposite side of the road. That description does not establish 130 as the field entrance. The operator asks all tree visitors to check in at 91 Terryville Road first so staff can direct them to the open fields.
The shared operator variety list includes balsam, Canaan, concolor and Fraser fir; white, blue and Meyer spruce; and white pine. Fraser, balsam, concolor and blue spruce are specifically listed for public harvest. Ask the check-in staff which fields and sizes suit your visit.
Saws are furnished. Shaking, cleaning and wrapping are offered on request, with no published fee or included-charge statement. Tagging is not allowed. Dress for outdoor field walking, and confirm payment and loading arrangements before travelling.
