Santa, crafts and a farm visit
Meet Santa for photographs, enjoy the hot cocoa bar, make children’s holiday crafts and explore the farm on the announced tours. Barn animals are part of the outing alongside the tree sales.
Arrival at Auerfarm
Use 158 Auer Farm Road in Bloomfield. Follow the half-mile gravel driveway to the visitor parking lot, where volunteers will direct traffic. That distance describes the driveway, rather than a required walk or a promise about accessible facilities.
Wreath workshops and photography
Auerfarm also advertises a separately registered wreath-making workshop using fresh greenery and seasonal embellishments, with materials included and all skill levels welcome. The linked booking header gives Thursday, December 3, from 6:30–8:30pm; its earlier description ends at 8pm and listed $45 with a sold-out status. The education notice instead gives December 4, 6:30–8pm. Confirm the intended date, finishing time, current price and availability before planning the class.
The workshop directions name Annie Fisher Classroom 1C, reached through the red archway from visitor parking. This class is separate from buying a Christmas tree or attending Santa on the Farm.
Professional photo sessions need advance permission and payment before the requested date. The posted request form lists portrait sessions at $75 per hour and weddings at $150 per hour. Its professional-session contact is Mark DiBella at 860-242-7144 extension 100 or mdibella@auerfarm.org; confirm current terms and availability before arranging a session. Casual event photos with Santa do not book a private professional session.
