Choose a fresh-cut tree
Compare the displayed trees with staff help, then use the premium wrapping for the journey home. Wreaths, stands and accessories are separate choices.
Make a weekend stop
The published Saturday and Sunday programme adds baked goods for purchase. Lights, music and a restored sleigh display give the lot its holiday setting; confirm renewed arrangements.
Little Barn is a family-operated fresh-cut tree lot, with wreaths, premium stands and tree accessories alongside the trees. Staff can help with the selection, and premium wrapping makes loading and the journey home easier. This is a place to choose a cut tree rather than to cut a rooted tree in a plantation.
The Von Eschen family runs Little Barn on Hover Street about a mile and a half north of Highway 66; its official embedded map identifies the visitor address on North 95th Street. The published opening and hours are seasonal arrangements, and the last season ended when the trees sold out, so check availability before heading north for a particular choice.
A festive stop beside the trees
Lights, music and decorations give the tree search a holiday setting. Look for the restored one-horse open sleigh from the early twentieth century: it is a display, so plan a look and a photo rather than expecting a sleigh ride.
Handmade wooden log reindeer and ornaments offer smaller keepsakes to take home. The published weekend programme offers cinnamon rolls and other fresh baked goods for purchase on Saturdays and Sundays. Confirm the renewed treats and tree selection if you are planning a special weekend visit.

Care before decorating
Little Barn’s care guide recommends a stand that fits the trunk without whittling its sides, with about a quart of water capacity per inch of trunk diameter. Make a straight fresh cut of about half an inch from the base before setup, put it in water promptly and check the water level daily. For a tree waiting to be decorated, a cool spot and a full bucket of water keep the fresh-cut base covered.
