Find your tree
Choose your Christmas tree.
Rye Farms, owned by Mark and Janica Rye, sorts its trees into areas by how you buy them. In the Today Christmas Tree area no tree can be reserved: you select it, cut it, buy it and take it home the same day. A reservation area has hundreds of trees you can pay for when you pick them and collect later, and giant trees up to 14 feet can be reserved.
You can use the farm’s tree carts and cut the tree yourself, or let the farm’s experts cut it, load it and tie it onto your car. The farm names no species or size range for the Today Trees and posts no tree prices. The farm does not say whether saws are provided.
Pre-cut Noble firs from Oregon arrive the day after Thanksgiving. Live Monterey and Aleppo pines in 15-gallon containers can be planted in your yard after the season.

Today Trees, giant trees and the reservation area
Today Trees are the farm’s choose-and-cut trees: you take the tree home the day you choose it, and none can be held. The farm grows giant trees super wide as well as tall, up to 14 feet, and says you may reserve one; it recommends coming early because they go fast. The reservation area lets you pay for your tree the day you select it, and the farm keeps it on reserve until you are ready for it to be cut. The farm posts no deposit, pick-up deadline, refund rule or start date for reservations.
