Choose your Christmas tree.
Choose a balsam or Fraser fir as part of the reserved household wagon outing, or use the separate South Lot. The $110 outing includes one household and one tree.
The South Lot needs no reservation and uses its own per-tree price: $65 through seven feet, with $10 added for each additional foot. Choose-and-cut and precut availability there varies.

The farm visit.
The reserved wagon outing
Check in at the farmhouse before the wagon trip. The team points out rows suited to the tree size you want, then a horse- or tractor-drawn wagon carries the group to the fields. Allow 1–2 hours for the outing, including roughly 15 minutes riding each way.
After choosing and cutting, warm up with cocoa, games and a fire at the cabin while staff bring the tree back to the parking area. It is netted for transport, with help loading your vehicle.
Choose a wagon and reserve your seats
Book a household session for the wagon outing. Adults occupy two child-size seats, and different families may share a wagon. Manage the reservation through the confirmation email.
Trips run in light weather. If the operator cancels for severe weather, it emails the group with rescheduling or a full refund.
| Wagon | Capacity | Departures |
|---|---|---|
| Horse-drawn | 8 adults or 16 child-size seats | Every 15 minutes |
| Tractor-drawn | 12 adults or 24 child-size seats | Every 30 minutes |
The South Lot
The South Lot is on VT-116 across from Ireland Road, about a mile south of the main farm. It has separate per-tree pricing and needs no reservation; precut availability varies.
Maple products beyond tree season
Syrup is available year round by phone or email for pickup. For maple orders use 802-373-2032 or Maplehillside@gmail.com; the Christmas-tree inquiry number has a different purpose.
