The last Sunday can close early. Follow the farm’s directions rather than winter-road GPS shortcuts.

Choose your Christmas tree.

Staff cut your selected field tree, transport it, bale it and help attach it to your vehicle.

Precut racks offer an alternative to walking the fields and may have discounted trees.

The farm shapes its trees for a natural, full form with room between branches for ornaments, rather than a very tight silhouette. Species and sizes vary across the open planting.

Inside the Christmas barn

After the field search, warm up near the wood furnace and browse greenery, maple products and tree accessories. Antique equipment and an electric-train display make the barn a stop in its own right.

Nonprofit bake sales provide food and hot drinks on selected days. The train is normally free for customers and non-customers, but staff prioritize tree sales and pause operation to let engines cool. Arrange a special group tour by phone or email.

The maple selection comes from nearby Sanders and Brassard sugarhouses: syrup in pint, quart, half-gallon and gallon sizes, half-pint maple butter and maple candy in assorted shapes.

Wreaths and precuts

Precut and tabletop trees are replenished with freshly cut trees as the farm is able and may be discounted. Decorated and plain wreaths are offered in 18-, 24-, 30- and 36-inch outside diameters. They often sell out in the first two weekends; call to reserve a wreath.

For a particular wreath size or type, allow half a day to a full day for the farm to obtain it from the wreathmaker.

A seasonal raffle

A free raffle offers a tree under 9 feet for the following Christmas season. Ask the farm about the current raffle arrangements.

Staff help and taller trees

Staff handle the cutting and transport, then bale the tree and help attach it to your vehicle. You do not need to bring a saw or axe for the staff-cut service.

Trees cannot be tagged for collection later in the season.
