Choose your Christmas tree.

Tree choices range from 3–12ft. White pine has soft needles and lighter branches; Scotch pine and Fraser fir suit heavier ornaments. Concolor fir has longer needles and a citrus scent.

Once you select a tree, staff bring a measuring stick to establish its price and a hand saw for cutting. They can cut it for you if preferred. Use the farm’s saws; visitors may not bring their own. Fields are first come, first served, with no pre-tagging. Field access depends on weather and tree availability; check that the cutting fields are open before traveling.

Handling your tree

Shaking, a fresh base cut, mesh netting, carrying to the vehicle and twine are included. Staff cannot tie the tree onto your vehicle for insurance reasons, so secure it yourself.

Weekend treats and trails

Walk the Jack Pine Trails through the tree field. On weekends there is a campfire for roasting marshmallows and free hot chocolate. Candy canes are free, and free children’s surprise bags are offered while supplies last. Children can leave a letter in Santa’s mailbox on the barn; Santa usually visits a few weekends.

Wreaths, arrangements and supplies

Fresh wreaths and arrangements are made daily; custom wreaths and swags can be ordered ahead. Greenery bundles, tree stands, wreath stands and disposal bags are also available. Call ahead for multiple bundles. Regular stands usually suit trees up to 8ft; larger stands suit taller trees. Wreath stands work best with mini, small or medium wreaths. Keep fresh arrangements watered.

Orders and practical details

For advance orders, give your contact information, pickup date, and the size and kind of tree or wreath. Pay with cash, Venmo, PayPal or check. Portable restrooms are beside the barn at the home farm. Leashed pets are welcome; clean up after them. Personal family photos are welcome while choosing a tree, but professional photography is not allowed.
