The farm visit.
Let the crew do the work
Staff cut, shake, net and load your tree; arrive with a vehicle suited to its size. Wear thick-soled closed shoes and watch for holes, stumps and prickly pears. Follow parking signs and use the yard or designated dirt road, rather than driving between tree rows.
Greenery, gifts and weekend extras
Handmade wreaths and garland use red cedar, Virginia pine, Carolina Sapphire and Murray cypress greenery. The gift shop sells ornaments, tree stands and farm merchandise. Barbecue ribs and hayrides may be available on weekends.
Children can try the Yoder playsets displayed at the farm; the farm also sells these playground sets. Large-tree tagging requires an appointment because supplies are limited.
Planned photography
Photography sessions require advance consent, an appointment, check-in and completed forms. The fee is $40 for up to one hour with one client or family; payment is due before the session. For photography fees, the farm accepts cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard and Venmo.
Photo sessions stay in designated areas. Vehicles cannot enter the tree fields; carry props in and remove them afterwards or a $100 cleanup fee applies. Pets must be leashed and their waste removed. Children under 12 must remain with an adult. Discuss weather rescheduling with the farm.
