Choose your Christmas tree.
Field choices include Blue Ice, Virginia pine, Carolina Sapphire, Murray cypress and Green Giant. Douglas firs arrive from Oregon and Fraser firs from North Carolina; these pre-cut trees are kept out of the sun and in water. Murray branches are described as suitable for ornaments, while Carolina Sapphire suits lights better than heavier hanging decorations.

The farm visit.
Choose, cut and wrap
Cut your chosen tree close to the ground, or ask staff to cut it. The crew shakes out loose debris and wraps the tree for the journey home. Leave room for the stand and topper when measuring your ceiling, and keep the fresh trunk submerged in water at home.
Christmas at the Barn
The separate Christmas market runs November 13, 4–8pm, and November 14, 9am–4pm. Admission is $5 at the door; children 12 and under enter free. Local vendors, handmade gifts, sweet treats, music and Santa are part of the market. Tree-sales opening follows on November 21.
The farm also has a gift shop and seasonal snacks. Its Trees for Troops program accepts donated tree funding for military families; arrange the contribution with the farm because its published donation amounts differ.
Before you go.
- Check the farm’s events page before a later-December visit; the closing-week dates and weekday labels need confirmation.
