The farm visit.
A daylight trip to the fields
Ride a wagon to the fields and allow plenty of daylight to choose and cut. The farm does not take visitors into the fields after dark; its published last tractor run is 5:30pm. Staff help load trees. Covered fir displays provide a sheltered alternative when the weather is less inviting.
Warm up at the barn
Roast marshmallows beside the seasonal fires, enjoy hot chocolate and listen to Christmas music. Wreaths, garland and holiday decorations include traditional wreaths up to 38 inches, snowflakes, crosses, candy canes, door arches, tassels and centerpieces; limited 54-inch mantel pieces are another seasonal option. The harvest shop carries local honey, salsa, jams, jellies and preserves.
Stands and giving
Marriage Saver stands need a tapered hole in the trunk. Pre-cut trees are drilled for this stand, and staff can help with drilling. The farm participates in Trees for Troops: ask the barn cashier about a discounted donated tree and attach a personal card. The published donation cutoff is December 1; confirm the programme’s current deadline with the cashier.
Before you go.
- Professional photography is separately restricted to designated dates and locations; arrange it with the farm rather than assuming tree-visit access covers a session.
- Selection changes during the season. Check the farm’s current tree list and Christmas hours before setting out.
