Take a tree home today
Same-day selection needs no tag. Standard field trees are $80 plus tax, with a separate 9-foot-and-over price rule; baling is included.
Tag for later collection
Buy a $3 nonrefundable tag in person, select November 27–30, call one day before pickup and collect by December 23. Availability is not guaranteed.
Visit during soft opening
November 21–25 covers shop purchases, precuts and advance tag purchases. Field selection starts November 27.
Yetter Road combines field selection with staff cutting, a precut choice and Dina’s Shoppe. Its growing inventory includes balsam, Fraser, Douglas, Canaan, Nordmann, Turkish, concolor, corkbark and Korean fir, white spruce, white and Scotch pine and hybrids. These trees are at different growth stages; the list does not mean every variety or height is ready to harvest.
You can choose and take a tree home on the same day without tagging. For later collection, buy a $3 nonrefundable tag in person and select and tag the tree only during November 27–30. Tags can be bought ahead during the November 21–25 soft opening, but field selection waits until November 27. Call one day before collection so staff can cut and prepare the tree, and collect by December 23. A tagged tree’s availability cannot be completely guaranteed.

Field hours, precuts and parking
The announced season runs November 27–December 23, with Thanksgiving closed. Shop and precut access during the November 21–25 soft opening is separate from the field opening. During the main season, Monday–Wednesday hours are noon–5pm and Thursday–Sunday 9am–5pm; the field closes at 4:30pm and may close for the season earlier to protect younger stock.
The November 21 shop preview runs 4–9pm, focusing on local gifts and seasonal decorations. It is separate from field harvesting, which starts November 27.
Parking is limited, including roadside spaces. Carpool if possible and respect neighboring properties. The association describes leashed dogs and a portable toilet. The operator accepts all forms of payment.

Dina’s Shoppe and seasonal music
The changing shop assortment includes locally made crafts, custom wreaths, roping, cemetery boxes, sprays, stands, bows and floral arrangements. Arrange a custom wreath ahead by phone or in the shop, choosing the colors and decorations with the farm.
Saxophone Santa is announced for November 27–29, 10am–noon, and December 5–6, 10–11am. These are separate sessions, so choose the day and time that suit your tree visit.
Irene’s Love is Sweet opens its refreshment stand on weekends during the season, selling cocoa, coffee, tea and snacks. These are separate purchases from a tree or a workshop ticket.

Book a wreath workshop
The December 4, 11 and 12 workshops each run 6–8pm, with a choice of making a wreath or a spray. A ticket is $65 plus a $1.63 service fee; any additional tax was not established. Fresh greens and all materials are included, with aprons, gloves, cocoa and cookies available. Wear clothing suitable for sappy greens. The December 12 booking has a conflicting weekday in its description, so confirm the intended session before paying. Ask the farm about separately arranged private wreath-making events.

Professional photography must be arranged directly with an approved photographer: Leighann Kuenn, Bridget Huss or Sara’s Photography. Sessions are allowed Wednesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays before November 21. The $50 charge is the farm-session fee; ask the photographer about their separate package price. Professional sessions stop once the season opens, and outside or unscheduled photographers are not permitted.

Bring something for the community
Yetter partners with Groton Human Services for an Adopt-A-Family gift programme and a food drive. For gifts, collect an ornament from Dina’s Shoppe listing a family’s needs, then bring the new gift back unwrapped with that ornament attached to the gift bag. The posted gift deadline is December 11; confirm the current drive and deadline with the farm before shopping.
The separate canned-food drive accepts nonperishable food at the farm, with December 22 as the posted deadline. These donations are separate from buying a tree or booking a workshop.
| Drive | Drop-off and conditions |
|---|---|
| Adopt-A-Family gifts | Dina’s Shoppe by December 11; new, unwrapped, with selected ornament attached |
| Food drive | Nonperishable food at the farm by December 22 |
Plan the tree’s first hours at home
The farm’s care guide recommends measuring the room before choosing, fitting a stand with about a quart of water capacity per inch of trunk diameter, and making a fresh one-inch trunk cut before putting the tree in water. Check the level daily, keep the cut base submerged and place the tree away from radiators, fireplaces and direct sunlight.
