Windswept’s growers profile names blue and Serbian spruce, bracted balsam, Douglas and concolor fir and Scotch pine for choose-and-cut. Saws and wrapping are available and a gift shop is listed, with no published tree-price tiers or handling fees.

The farm uses 12 Evergreen Lane and a New Milford postal address, while the profile describes it on the New Milford–Sherman town line. Confirm the correct Evergreen Lane entrance with the farm before setting out near the town line.

A weekend-season visit

The published pattern is Friday noon–4:30pm and Saturday–Sunday 9:30am–4:30pm after Thanksgiving through Christmas. The opening Friday begins earlier, at 9:30am. Check the operator’s seasonal update for stock and opening details.

No restrooms are listed. Ask about payment, tree height and any cutting or loading help at 860-355-9907 or steven.kleppin3@gmail.com. Confirm the Evergreen Lane entrance near the New Milford–Sherman town line before setting out.

Locally made greens and tree shapes

The operator’s previously published product page describes locally made wreaths and ornaments, with farm hats, mugs and pint glasses among the gifts. Confirm what the shop has for the new season.

That guide describes Serbian spruce as slender, with flat, soft needles and a silver-blue underside, while Colorado blue spruce has shorter, prickly blue-green needles. Concolor fir is described with longer blue or green needles. Those distinctions can help narrow the field search, but ask which varieties and sizes are currently ready to cut.
