The Christmas Barn
Barn shopping needs no tree reservation. It opens Friday–Sunday November 27–December 13, 9am–4pm, for decorated wreaths, Connecticut and American gifts and food vendors. Children can write letters to Santa and see calves Vienna and Cheese It. Popcorn is complimentary; other food is not described as free.
The barn’s gift range includes local soy candles, carved charcuterie boards and slate coasters, goat-milk soap, fudge, soup mixes, bird-art gifts, pottery, fused-glass ornaments and jewelry, primitive signs, bells, honey, maple sweets, tea and children’s farm or Christmas books. Farm merchandise and gift certificates are also offered; individual vendor stock can vary.

Pets and photography
Well-behaved leashed dogs are allowed; clean up after them. Professional and amateur photo sessions are prohibited. A portable toilet is listed. Broad Brook is the postal locality for this East Windsor farm.
Contact the farm at 860-623-5925 or info@symefamilyfarm.com about the current visit. The portable-toilet description comes from the growers profile; current tree and barn dates are given on the farm’s own Christmas page.
Give something for another farm season
The Christmas Barn offers gift certificates for farm products throughout the seasons and invites shoppers to the next summer’s Cut Flower Club. These are gifts for later visits, separate from a tree reservation or December flower collection.
The public shop lists a six-week mixed-bouquet club at $174, with Wednesday 4–6:30 pm or Saturday 9 am–noon collection, and a four-week lisianthus club at $120 with Saturday collection. The $87 mixed-bouquet listing is titled three weeks, but its description also says four weeks. Confirm the actual season, number of pickups and dates before choosing that gift; product URLs and older descriptions do not settle every term.
