Find your tree

Choose your Christmas tree.

Spruce Hill opens November 27, the Friday after Thanksgiving. It lists Fraser fir, blue spruce and white spruce, with 9–10-foot firs noted and all trees one price, although the numeric amount is not supplied.

Saws and tree carts are provided, netting is available and power saws are prohibited. Tagging is not allowed. The 17-acre farm includes ten acres of trees, a level lot and nearby parking; those details help with planning without establishing full wheelchair access throughout the fields.

Payment, facilities and animal arrangements

The posted schedule is Tuesday–Sunday 8am–4:30pm, closed Monday. Bring cash or a check; credit cards are not accepted. Restrooms are listed, and any netting charge should be confirmed.

The animal policy is printed as ‘Access only for certified support animals’. Ask the farm about your particular access need; that wording is reported without a legal interpretation. Downtown Thomaston’s Christmas lights are a separate nearby outing, rather than an attraction included in the tree purchase.

Reach the farm at 860-283-4222 or tom.on.the.farm@snet.net to confirm the current one-price amount, remaining fir heights and any help or netting charge. The named opening is the Friday after Thanksgiving; check stock before a trip for a 9–10-foot tree.
