J. C. Tree Farm is the former Thompson’s tree farm at 308 Browns Road in Storrs, within Mansfield. Its municipal farm guide describes both customer cutting and a staff-cut option, with the tree brought to the customer’s vehicle. That is field-to-car help rather than home delivery.
The town’s current holiday guide continues to list J. C. as a cut-your-own farm, with new-season dates and prices still to be announced. An earlier Fraser-fir specialty does not guarantee the present selection; ask about the varieties, sizes and handling available for your intended visit. A recent operator announcement describes six-to-nine-foot trees and some extra-tall stock; ask about the actual height and variety available before a trip for a particular tree.

Previously published access began Thanksgiving Friday, then Wednesday–Friday noon–4pm and weekends 9am–4pm. The current town guide lists 9am–4pm, with seasonal dates still to come. Confirm actual selling days before travelling rather than treating the older weekly pattern as a new calendar.
