Homegrown Farms, also described locally as Humphrey’s Homegrown Farms, is the ten-acre choose-and-cut offering listed by state tourism at 331 New Hartford Road in Barkhamsted. A municipal farmland-preservation directory instead gives 97 Old New Hartford Road with the same phone. Confirm the entrance with the farm at 860-379-8741 before travelling.
The undated tourism profile gives Friday 10 am–4 pm, Saturday 9 am–4 pm and Sunday 10 am–4 pm. An earlier local guide gave an earlier Friday opening, so confirm the current hours as well as the season’s opening and final selling dates. An older agriculture brochure marked a Christmas shop; check whether it will be open for your visit.
