Bob’s is a choose-and-cut farm at 66 Turkey Plain Road, family-owned for decades. Its previously published crop was mostly concolor fir, with a few shorter blue spruce and very few trees over six feet. That is an earlier stock notice rather than a current availability promise: check the new announcement before making a trip for a tall tree.
The previously posted offer was $90 for any size or variety, including sales tax; confirm the current price before cutting. No tagging is permitted. Use a supplied hand saw or bring your own, and ask if you need cutting or carrying help. Take the tree to the baling station for baling and vehicle securing, or use the supplied twine to tie it yourself.
Concolor fir is the softer-needled choice, with blue-green foliage and a citrus scent. Blue spruce has sharper needles and firmer branches, a useful difference when handling the tree or choosing ornaments. Generic white-spruce and Canaan-fir panels remain on the farm’s guide, but they do not establish those varieties in the limited crop described above.

Planning a small-farm visit
Parking is close to the tree lot. The previously posted payment policy is cash or check only, expressly excluding credit cards, debit cards and electronic payment. That earlier page also listed farm-produced maple syrup at $12 a pint or $20 a quart, separate from the tree; check the current syrup stock and prices.
The earlier announcement expected only December 6–7 and December 13–14, with weekend hours of 9 am–4 pm and sales subject to the limited crop. Those dates have passed. Confirm the new-season opening, remaining heights and payment arrangements before travelling.
