Earlier holiday assortments at Echter’s include fresh-cut trees and fresh greens, with poinsettias and other holiday plants alongside them. Artificial trees are a separate choice from the real-tree selection. Check which fresh-cut varieties and heights have arrived before making a tree-specific trip.
For a smaller living indoor Christmas tree, Echter’s earlier plant guides describe Norfolk Island pines, including some decorated with miniature ornaments. These are houseplants rather than a promise of an outdoor Colorado planting tree. Ask what is available, use lightweight ornaments and cool lights, and discuss care for your room with the plant team.

Fresh-cut or a living indoor tree
The Arvada garden center is near 52 nd Avenue and Garrison Street, with a single retail location. Earlier holiday ranges offer a comparison between a fresh-cut Christmas tree and a smaller Norfolk Island pine; check which options are currently on the sales floor.
Norfolk Island pines can remain indoor plants after the holidays. The operator recommends bright indirect light, protection from drafts and heating vents, and attention to humidity. The team can help with plant selection and care questions.

Holiday plants, finishing touches and events
Earlier holiday ranges include poinsettias, amaryllis, holiday cactus and paperwhites. Repotting is free when you buy both a plant and a container; otherwise the charge depends on size and time. Plants brought from home must be free of pests and disease. This is a plant service, rather than a cut-tree preparation promise. Protect plants in transport below 54°F. Repotting is offered during store hours and subject to availability; March–May weekends can be limited.
The bow counter offers complimentary drop-in foil with a plant purchase, plus separately priced custom bows, card picks and decorative wreath accents. Ask about the finish you want before buying the plant or greenery.
Earlier Christmas programmes included free Santa visits and Arvada Food Bank collections, with Santa Paws on a separate day. Those dates and donation arrangements need renewing. The current events page instead lists a free public Art & Glass Show from October 31 to November 8, featuring the Mountainside Art Guild, Arvada Fine Arts Guild and Glass Artists of Colorado. Check the events calendar before making a particular activity the reason for the trip.
Gifts beyond the tree
The Home & Gift range includes scarves, hats, gloves, bags and socks; soaps and lotions; candles and diffusers; kitchen textiles; artisan pottery; books, puzzles, journals and greeting cards. There are also children’s garden tools and toys, plus pet toys and blankets. Availability varies with the seasonal shelves.
For food gifts, the advertised range includes local honey, jams and jellies, spice blends, infused oils, candy, chocolates, caramels, syrups and small-batch ciders. Pair a small item with a holiday plant, or let the recipient choose with a gift card.
Gift cards and Rewards
Gift cards are sold in-store or online in amounts from $20 to $500. They can buy anything at the Colorado store, but cannot pay for online sales. You can use part of the balance and save the rest, or combine the remaining balance with cash or a bank card. Cards have no expiry or hidden fees.
Gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged for cash, and purchases returned after payment by gift card go back to a gift card. Keep the card safe: lost or stolen cards are not replaced. The store can check the remaining balance.
Free Rewards membership is arranged in-store, with your phone number used at checkout. Members receive selected prices and earn $2 in Greenbucks per $20 spent. Greenbucks can cover up to half of a purchase during July 1–16 and December 17–30 redemption periods. Spending more than $500 annually also earns a 1% rebate mailed in February for in-store use. Check the particular offer: programme terms can change and discounts are not automatically combinable.
| Option | Key conditions |
|---|---|
| Gift card | $20–$500; physical-store redemption, including cards bought online |
| Greenbucks | $2 per $20 spent; up to half of purchase during stated redemption windows |
| Annual rebate | More than $500 annual spending;1% mailed in February |
Delivery, pets and purchase conditions
Delivery is available for all products subject to availability. Charges depend on distance and the number of people needed, and multiple-load fees may apply. A coordinator follows up after purchase to schedule the delivery; follow-up excludes weekends, while deliveries can serve homes, apartments and offices seven days a week. Get the charge and arrangements for your chosen tree before relying on delivery.
Friendly, well-behaved leashed pets are welcome, and there are two resident greenhouse cats. Payment options include cash, Apple Pay and Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Personal checks are accepted up to $50 for the purchase amount only.
General merchandise returns require a valid receipt within two weeks. Used, damaged or unpackaged products are excluded, and holiday or seasonal goods cannot be returned after their selling season. Gift cards and clearance goods are nonreturnable; bulky items may incur a 15% restocking fee. The optional landscape tree-and-shrub warranty is separate from cut-tree or houseplant longevity, so check the exact terms of your purchase.
