Visit arrangementsWeekday tree visits are by appointment with Nigel.

  • Posted tree-visit pattern: Friday–Sunday · 10am–4pm

  • Use the tree-specific weekly pattern rather than generic contact-page hours. Bring cash: the homepage also lists checks, but the tree subpage still says cash only.
  • The tree subpage still lists November 22–23, while the homepage lists November 21–22. Confirm the actual opening date rather than treating either undated line as a confirmed new-season calendar.
  • South Farm was formerly part of the Rocks estate but is now a separately owned farm, run by Nigel Manley and Judy Ratzel. Use the Profile Road address and South Farm’s own appointment contact rather than the visitor entrance or holiday program at The Rocks.
  • Bring cash. The homepage mentions checks but the tree subpage still says cash only, so confirm check acceptance if needed.
No advance tree tagging.
  • Visitors unable to cut should contact the farm at least one week before their preferred pickup to discuss options.

  • Public trails are open dawn to dusk. The easy, 0.8-mile Christmas Tree Trail has 15 interpretive stops; it offers a way to see more of the working landscape without turning a tree purchase into a booked tour. Trail conditions and field access remain separate from the heated, accessible restrooms in the Barn, two of which have changing stations. The vestibule’s accessible restrooms remain open daily from dawn to dusk even when the rest of the Carriage Barn is closed.
  • The separately purchased Christmas Memory Package combines a stay at a participating inn or hotel with a tree, a decorated 12-inch wreath and a horse-drawn wagon ride. Contact the participating inn directly for its seasonal price and booking terms; lodging is not included in an ordinary tree purchase. The three-bedroom Gardener’s Cottage is another separately booked option and sleeps up to nine.

Offers vary by species, size and format. Confirm prices, stock and opening details before visiting; ask about unlisted handling charges.
