A closer look.
Before you go.
- Borrow a farm saw or bring a hand saw or hatchet; no chainsaws. Staff can cut the tree if needed.
- Baling is free except that the largest trees may not fit the baler.
- Bring ropes or straps to secure your tree; staff can help. Rope, straps and bungees are also sold in the gift shop.
- The operator recommends waiting until the second week of December to cut Norway spruce.
