Find your tree
Choose your Christmas tree.
Choose-and-cut and a simpler pre-cut selection offer two ways to find a tree at Windy Ridge. Contact the farm about the actual tree choice, price and visit time before setting out; species, size tiers and handling prices are not given in the current Christmas notice.
Wagon to the plantation and a warm-up
A wagon takes Christmas-tree visitors to the plantation, making the journey into the trees part of the outing. Ask about the day’s arrangement when deciding what works for your party.
Complimentary drinks and doughnuts are part of the Christmas description, with the current homepage specifically naming hot cider and a doughnut. The farm’s fall café has a separate operating season, so those Christmas refreshments should not be treated as confirmation that the full café menu is available.
Wreaths and the holiday shop
Handmade wreaths and the holiday gift shop add a shopping stop after the trees. The published shop selection includes Yankee Candles, jams and jellies, crafts and New Hampshire gifts. Choose from the items actually available; wreaths and gifts have their own prices.
Cash or checks only in the current published Christmas notice. For a weekday appointment, a particular tree request or the day’s arrival time, contact ciderhouse04@gmail.com or the farm number.
North Haverhill arrival and the dog rules
North Haverhill is a village within the town of Haverhill, so this listing belongs with Haverhill farms even though the mailing address uses the village name.
Well-mannered dogs must be leashed, calm and kept with the owner; never tie a dog unattended. Clean up after them. Dogs are excluded from buildings and porches, apple orchards, blueberry fields and picnic tables. Management can ask a disruptive dog to leave. Check with the farm before relying on a dog boarding the Christmas wagon.
An orchard family’s Christmas season
The Fabrizio family built the orchard from a former dairy farm, planting apples and gradually developing a cider and farm-sales business. Family members returned to expand the seasonal destination, including the doughnuts and trails that became part of its wider identity.
Christmas trees give the farm another harvest season, alongside the orchard’s wider family traditions.
If you want to explore farther
The farm describes two nature-trail choices: the Old Logging Trail passes a former beaver pond and old logging dam, with a view toward Black Mountain; the Deer Path goes around the orchard and pasture. Ask whether the trails are open for your Christmas visit and what winter conditions permit before planning a walk.
Donkeys, goats and sheep are described in the farm’s barnyard, while the Cider House Café and its adjoining gallery have their own seasonal schedules. Confirm any Christmas access separately; the fall animal, café and trail descriptions do not establish a winter package with a tree purchase.

Posted Christmas dates: Homepage lists choose-and-cut November 27–29 and December 5–6
The homepage does not state a season year or daily clock hours. These are its current posted dates, not a confirmed year-specific calendar; arrange arrival time before travelling.
| Current homepage date notice | Hours |
|---|---|
| November 27–29 | Choose-and-cut dates; contact farm for clock hours |
| December 5–6 | Choose-and-cut dates; contact farm for clock hours |
| Weekdays | By appointment; arrange directly |
The homepage date notice supersedes the older Christmas subpage’s broader window. It carries no explicit season year, so no calendar rollover is assumed.
