Find your tree
Choose your Christmas tree.
Choose a field tree or a pre-cut at Mount Hunger. Most field trees are no taller than eight feet, with only a few larger exceptions; the premium pre-cut selection is the clearer route when height is the priority.
Advance tagging takes place November 14–15. Payment is required to tag and reserve an individual tree for a later cut. On a cutting visit, borrow a hand saw or bring your own; power saws are not permitted.

Balsam greenery and the Gift Shoppe
Fresh balsam wreaths, garlands and kissing balls become available from Black Friday. There is a selection of smaller wreaths and a limited number of larger ones; opening the shop on November 21 does not mean that fresh greenery is available that first weekend.
Inside the Gift Shoppe, European glass ornaments share space with local artisan work and balsam candles, room sprays and cleaning sprays. German Black Forest cuckoo clocks add a distinctive browsing stop. Shop purchases have their own prices, separate from the field and pre-cut tree offers.
Plan a daytime cut or an evening pre-cut visit
Evening store hours are for pre-cut trees and Gift Shoppe shopping; field cutting stops at 4pm.
Well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome, but the farm prefers that they stay outside the shop because of fragile merchandise. Casual personal phone photos are allowed. Questions can go to mthungerfarm@gmail.com; the farm number accepts calls or texts.
Professional photography is separately arranged
Professional sessions cost $35 per hour per photographer, with one photographer per booking. Arrange the reservation with Roxanne, pay before arriving and provide proof of insurance at least 48 hours before the appointment. These conditions apply to a session, rather than an ordinary personal photograph while shopping.
Use the designated photography parking rather than the retail lot, and check in at the Gift Shoppe. Confirm the appointment before coming; a tree purchase does not include a professional session or permission to set up independently.
Continuing a Henniker tree-farm tradition
David and Roxanne continue the established Mount Hunger tree business, adding their own interests to the field harvest and Gift Shoppe. The mix of local artisan goods and European Christmas ornaments gives the farm a different character from a tree-only sales stop.
Far Out Farm in Falmouth, Massachusetts, is a separate property advertised by the owners. Its address, crops and growing claims do not describe the Henniker tree fields; use the Mount Hunger Road address for this visit.
